Obituary of Betty Holmes
Elizabeth “Betty” Florence Lucy Holmes passed away at Riverside Health Complex, Turtleford, Saskatchewan on Friday, August 5, 2022 at the age of 101 years.
Betty leaves to mourn her passing: her children, Lucy Cole, Rose Robb, Albert (Charlotte) O’Hare, Tom O’Hare (Pat Taylor) and Hugh O’Hare (Shannon Montgomery); grandchildren, Brenda Cole, Gail (Lane) Therres, Marvin Robb, Darrel (Karen) Robb, Greg O’Hare, Joni (Robin) Bahm, Leon (Cindy) O’Hare, Lori O’Hare, Jennifer O’Hare, Riley (Katie) O’Hare, Larissa O’Hare, Sara O’Hare and Devin O’Hare; great grandchildren, Chad (Casie) Therres, Jodi Therres, Katelynn (Jake) Bannerman, Taylor Robb (Jon Rees), Conner Robb, Quinn O’Hare, Cody O’Hare, Shaelyn O’Hare, Arland Bahm, Kayley O’Hare, Chloe O’Hare, Lily O’Hare, Logan O’Hare, Grady O’Hare, Paisley O’Hare, Jaxson Baron, Aemilia Baron and Keltie Baron; great-great grandchildren, Jackson Therres and Scarlett Bannerman; as well as numerous nieces, nephews great nieces and great nephews.
Betty is predeceased by: her first husband, Jack O’Hare; second husband, George Holmes; great grandchildren, Keegan Bahm, Ashley Bahm and Finn Alexander Baron; sons-in-law, Richard Cole and Gordon Robb; parents, Albert and Mary Belle Harris; brothers, Charlie (Jantje) Harris and Rob (Helen) Harris; and nephew, John Harris; .
The Memorial Service for Betty will be conducted from Livelong Community Hall, Livelong, Saskatchewan on Monday, August 15, 2022 at 2:00 PM. If you are unable to attend, you may view the live streaming of the service which will be posted on McCaw Funeral Service website under Betty’s obituary at the time of the service.
Donations in memory of Betty may be made to donor’s charity of choice or Riverside Health Complex (Long Term Care)
