Obituary of Betty Anne Hiltz
HILTZ, Betty Anne – age 70, of Lantz, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2022, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in New Germany, she was a daughter of the late Burpee and Audrey (Grimm) Wentzell.
Betty was a very loving and proud mother to not only her children, but to friends of her children who would often refer to her as, “mom”. She was a very talented crafter and would master anything she tried. Betty will be dearly missed by those she loved.
Betty is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Roger; son, Sandy; daughter, Victoria (Chadwick Paris); grandson, Lachlan Clarke; sister, Bonnie (Vernon) Levy; many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. No service by request.
Donations in Betty’s memory can be made to a charity of choice.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at Colchester East Hants Health Centre for making Betty’s last few days as comfortable as possible.
