Betty Frances Weppler, of Ayton, passed away peacefully at Hanover and District Hospital, Hanover on Sunday, December 25, 2022. She was 82.
Betty was born in Durham, Ontario on January 22, 1940 to the late William and Jane (nee Hopkins) Brown. She married Leroy Weppler and began her family. She loved raising her children and was ecstatic when she became a gramma and then great gramma. She will be remembered by her church family as a faithful and devoted woman that would do anything to help you.
Survived by devoted children Kevin (Michelle) Weppler of Romania, Karen (Ken) Glasser, Keith Weppler both of RR#2 Ayton and Ken (Brenda) Weppler of RR#1 Walkerton. Loved gramma of Shawn, Rachelle (Jason), Brittany (Devin), Erin (Kyle), Kristopher (Traci), Kyle (Laura), Ryne (Becca) and Kelsey and great gramma of 11. Fondly remembered by her sister in law Laurie Brown of Ingersoll, nieces, nephews and their children. Predeceased by her husband Leroy, great-granddaughter, Claudia, brother Norman and sisters Thelma Halliday, Dorothy Ferguson, Marion Garland and Isobel Brown.
Family and friends are invited to visitation at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ayton on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 12:30pm -1:45pm where a Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm. Pastor Heather Spencer-Stoltz officiating. Spring interment in Union Cemetery, Ayton.
