Betty Lou Vere (nee Lippert), of
Kincardine, passed away suddenly at Owen Sound Hospital on Sunday, May 15,
2022. She was 75.
Born in Norwich on September 12,1946 and
raised in Mildmay, to the late Patrick and Nora (nee Britton) Lippert. Betty’s
true passion was her family. Betty loved her children, grandchildren, great
grandchildren and best friend and true love her husband. Betty (Mom to all) was
the heart of the family. Everyone came to her for advice and just plain gossip.
We will deeply miss her loving and the compassionate soul that she was.
Survived by loving husband, David Vere of
Kincardine. Dear Mother of David Vere Jr. (Kim) of Cambridge, Phyllis Vere
(Rick) of Kitchener and Patricia Emmons (Darrin) of Windsor. Dearly missed by
grandchildren Jeffery, Amanda, Kelly, Brooke, Tony and Merissa as well as great
grandchildren Bella, Miles, Emelia, Livia, Avery, Bennett and 3 more to be born
this year: baby Emmons/Mosher (Amanda), baby Emmons (Jeffery) and baby
Vere/Huether (Merissa). Fondly remembered by siblings Gary Lippert of
Kincardine, Darlene (Gary) Beamsley of Kitchener, Francis (John) Beamsley of
Kitchener, Judy (Jerry) Taibinger of Mildmay, Theresa Lippert (Bob) of Mildmay,
Dan (Laura) Lippert of Guelph, Cathy Lippert (Tony) of Walkerton and
step-brother Patrick (Chris) Lippert of Walkerton. Betty will be missed by her
many nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents and
brother Glen Lippert.
Family and friends will be invited for the
Service and Celebration of Life that will be held at St. Anthony’s Roman
Catholic Church, 749 Russell Street, Kincardine, on Saturday, May 28th
at 10:30am. Cremation has all ready taken place.
Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke
foundation would be appreciated as an expression of sympathy. Arrangements
entrusted to the care of our family at this time and or the church.
