Peacefully with family by her side, the passing of Betty
Joice MacDonald, age 79, loving and caring wife of 59 years to Rollie
MacDonald, occurred on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at the Dr. John M.
Gillis Memorial Lodge, Eldon. Born in Murray River, August 1, 1942,
she was the daughter of the late Fred and Annie (Moore) MacLeod. Betty
is survived by children, Keith MacDonald and Trevor MacDonald;
brothers and sisters, Rankin (Joy) MacLeod, Marvin (Alba) MacLeod,
Esther Penny, Gary (Gloria) MacLeod, Florence (Barry) MacTavish and
Dorothy (Everett) MacNeill; cherished grandchildren, Joshua (Melissa)
MacDonald, Michael MacDonald; adored great grandchild, Caleb
MacDonald; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother-in-law
Louis Penny.

Montague Funeral Home, with private family by invitation only visiting
on Saturday, February 26, 2022. Private family Funeral by invitation,
will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2022 in the Funeral Home Chapel
with live Stream at 3:00 pm. Interment to take place at a later date.
