Betty Gomolinsky

Peacefully on Thursday, April 14, 2022, in her ninety- second year. Wife of the late Joseph Gomolinsky. Loving mother and mother-in-law of David and Robin Gomolin, Hilary Gomolin and his partner Marshall Gillig and Esther Berglas. Cherished Bubba of Adam Gomolin and Emma Mann-Meginniss, Michelle Gomolin, Jordan Gomolin, Evan Gomolin, Gilad Gomolin, Sarah Gomolin Freedman and Moshe Freedman. Proud great-grandmother of Avigayil, Batsheva and Rochel Freedman. Daughter of the late Rosalia and the late David Moskovic. Dearest sister and sister-in-law of Rae Slomovic and the late Jack Slomovic. Devoted aunt to Daniel Slomovic and Allan Slomovic and their families. She will be fondly remembered by many friends.
A survivor of the camps, Betty was a deeply religious woman, who possessed tremendous strength and character. She was truly a devoted mother to her sons David and Hilary who were her pride and joy. Her love for them knew no bounds and nothing was more important to her than providing them with opportunities for success. Betty’s efforts and belief in David and Hilary will always remain the foundation of their personal and professional lives. Special thanks to her devoted and loving caregiver Macrina Salanga and the dedicated staff of 3 North of the Donald Berman Maimonides Geriatric Centre. Graveside service on Friday, April 15 at 1:00 p.m. at the Zichron Kedoshim Congregation Cemetery, Beth Israel & Samuel Section, de la Savane. Due to the advent of Passover, there will be no shiva.
