Obituary
It is with great sadness that we the family of Betty Ella Boyd announce her peaceful passing, surrounded by family, on June 7th, 2022 at the age of 77 years. She leaves to mourn: husband of 60 years, Austin; children: Randy (Beverley), Sandy (Ida White), Austin, Michele Bennett (Joe D’Andrea), & Jamie (Christy Dickson); grandchildren: April (Channon) House, Andrew Boyd (Jerilyn Burton), Branden Boyd, Alicia Boyd (Nico Levesque), Jeremy Bennett (Kassidy Baker), Jordan & Nathan; great grand-daughters: Arabella & Cassidy; brother Junior Ings (Bessie Haomik); and sisters: Phoebe Rideout, Netta (Dave) Bailey, Peggy McNamara, Velma (James) Goodyear & Esther(Brian)Morrison; as well as many brothers & sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, and good friends.
Betty was predeceased by: her parents Bertie and Ethel Ings; children: Austin & twins Jamie and Jerome; siblings: George, Esau, and Lillian; and brother in-law Sandy Rideout.
In her younger years Betty spent her time volunteering with the Salvation army scouting program that her children were involved in. Through her later years she was the president and treasurer of women’s ministries at Zion Pentecostal Church and helped in the kitchen during many
