ELIZABETH (BETTY) BERGMANN
It is with sadness and joy that we announce the passing of Elizabeth (Betty) Bergmann. Betty was born in Osteruik, Russia on July 24, 1928 and passed away peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus on Jan. 4th, 2022. Even in the midst of her incredible struggle with Alzheimer’s disease, her sweet, loving nature still radiated through.
She was predeceased by her first husband Jacob Bergmann of 47 years in 1995 and her second husband, Victor Marten’s of 9 years in 2017.
Until we meet again mom, you will be lovingly remembered by your children, Ken (Sandi) Bergmann, Ruthe(Wayne) Penner, her four grandchildren, Mark (Tamira) Penner, Michael Penner, Jesse Bergmann, Catherine & her three great-grand children, Mason, Grae, & Emyrson Penner.
Betty was a loving, generous and gentle woman, devoted wife and mother who faced life’s challenges with courage and determination. Her faith in Jesus was steadfast and unwavering. Betty’s achievements were many and will always be remembered lovingly and affectionately, celebrated by many.
Our family would like to express our sincere thanks for the compassionate care provided by the staff of Bethania Personal Care Home.
A private family service will take place.
