Beth Winnifred Leach
August 5, 1932 – December 24, 2022
Peacefully at Miarianhil, with her family at her side, on Christmas Eve December 24, 2022 at the age of 90 years. Beth Winnifred Leach (nee Jamieson), beloved wife of the late Ogle Leach. Loved mother of her son Douglas Leach (Betty) and her daughter Waveney Rook (Henry) both of Pembroke. Loving grandmother to Megan Leach (Chris), Lindsay Leach (Andrew), Quinton Rook (Kylie), Nolan Rook and great grandchildren River, Asha and Abigail.
Also survived by her sister Ann Clarke (late Lloyd). Predeceased by her parents John and Winnifred (nee Boyle) Jamieson, her brothers James (late Eileen), Mylne (late Betty) and sisters Ena Leach (late Cecil) and Margaret Patterson (late Pat). Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Beth with her family during visitation at the Murphy Funeral Home, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke, on Friday January 6th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday January 7th at 11:00 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Anglican Church, Lower Stafford. Spring interment St. Thomas Anglican Cemetery, Rankin.
In memory of Beth, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
