Beth Eickmeyer, 95, of Mitchell passed away peacefully at the Ritz Villa, Mitchell on Tuesday, March 15, 2022.
Beloved wife of the late Albert Eickmeyer (1971). Dear mother of Barry Eickmeyer (Anne), Barbara Hughey (Dennis), Brian Eickmeyer (Julie) and Beverly Broughton (Richard). Loving grandmother of Gordon (Denise), Jennifer, Michael, Jennifer, Allison (Blake), Erica (Tim), Tim (Allison), Samantha (Craig), Jason (Jess) and Stacey (Matt). Cherished great grandmother of 24 great grandchildren. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Lily Nichols, sisters Joan Nichols and Lucene Rose (Lloyd).
Beth was an elementary school teacher having taught in one room school houses in Hibbert, Fullarton and Logan Townships. She finished her 25 year teaching career at Upper Thames Elementary School in Mitchell retiring in 1988.
A private family service will be held at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell and may be viewed at LockhartFuneralHome.com on Friday. Memorial donations to the Ritz Villa Redevelopment Fund or Grace Lutheran Church would be appreciated and may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com.
