Beryl Thelma Loggie
1930 – 2022
Beryl Thelma Loggie of Kennebec Manor, Saint John and formerly of Chaplin Island Road, NB, wife of the late John “Jackie” Loggie passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, July 29, 2022 at the age of 92. Born in Dartmouth, NS, the daughter of the late Harry and Mable (Claridge) Dares.
Beryl is survived by daughters: Peggy Shears (Terry) Quispamsis, NB, Gilda Pieroway (Aaron) Penobsquis, NB, Gerri White (Derek) Doyles NL, Helen McNutt (Jack) Odon, Indiana, USA; sons: Royce Loggie (Mary) St Georges, NL, Keith Loggie (Bobbie-Sue) Snow Lake, MB, John Loggie (Joy) Torbrook, NS, Lloyd Loggie (Cathie) Fort McMurray, AB; sister: Shirley Carrol Kelowna, BC, 37 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, Beryl is predeceased by sons: Ralph and Sterling; grandsons: John and Lindsay; brothers: Harry, Charles and Donald; sister: Helen.
Visitation will take place at Bell’s Funeral Home, Miramichi on Thursday, August 4 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held at the Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Charlene Maguire-MacKnight officiating. Interment will follow in the Maple Glen Cemetery.
