It is with great sadness that the family of Beryl Smith (nee Hill) announces her passing on Thursday, May 12th, 2022 at the age of 98. Born October 29th 1923. Beloved wife of Earl Robert Smith predeceased. Loving mother of Garry (Dorothy), Jim (Paulette), Rick predeceased (Cathy lnch), Darlene Joliat (Michel), Nadine Methe (Fern), and Arlie Onion (Brian). Beryl will also be sadly missed by her grandchildren Darryl, David, Nickol, Shawn, Kellie, and Natalie predeceased, Jedd, Kelsey, Adrian, Morgan Chad, Lora, and Robert along with 12 great grandchildren. She was also a very special Auntie Beryl to many.
Beryl was an honorary lifetime member of the Chelmsford Ladies Axillary Legion Branch 533 and St. Stephens United Church in Chelmsford. She worked for the Township of Rayside Balfour as a caterer at the Lakeview Hall for many years where she made lifetime friends and had a lot of good times. Beryl lived on the family farm for 72 years, since 1950 where she loved spending time with family. She was always the host of large family gatherings where all were welcomed. ln our mother’s word “Talk Enough”
A memorial service will be held in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch Street, Sudbury on Tuesday, May 24th, 2022 at 1:00 pm.
