In Loving Memory of
Bertha Cheena
(nee Gagnon)
November 18, 1959 ~ September 1, 2022
The family announces with sorrow the passing of Bertha at the Health Science North Hospital in Sudbury on Thursday September 1, 2022 at the age of 62. She leaves in mourning her husband Lavius and her children: Wendy, Valerie, Carl and her grandchildren Therian and Savannah.
Bertha was the sister of Gerald Gagnon, Margaret Hunter, Bernice Gagnon, Maude (Peter) Archibald, Peter Gagnon, Paul (Joanne) Gagnon, Pauline Gagnon, Sandra Gagnon, Bernard Gagnon, Sharon (David) Job, Charles Gagnon (the late Denise), Walter (Wilma) Gagnon, Theresa Gagnon, Cathy Gagnon as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents William Gagnon and Janie Hester, her siblings Germaine, Earl, Rollande and Keith.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Maison Funéraire Génier Gauthier Funeral Home, 70 Seventh Avenue South of Cochrane. (this event will be live streamed- the link is below)
The funeral service will be held in Moosonee on Friday, September 9, 2022.
