Obituary of Bernie MacIsaac
It is with heartfelt sorrow that the family of Bernie (John Bernard) MacIsaac wish to announce that he died peacefully on Saturday May 21, 2022, at Embassy Hall in Quispamsis. Born on August 17, 1936, in Inverness, NS. Bernie had a long career in the Canadian Armed Forces which took him to many exciting places across Canada and around the world. Bernie loved to join family and friends in fishing, camping, sports, and games. He was happiest sharing food and stories (fact or fiction?) with everyone.
Predeceased by his precious wife Ursula (Murray) MacIsaac and lovingly remembered by his daughters; Laura MacIsaac, Jo-Ann Talbot (Denis) and Carol MacIsaac. He will live forever in the hearts of his grandchildren; Nathan (Sabrina), Dustin (Tatyana), Myranda, Patrick and Benjamin, and his great grandchildren; Wyatt and Leo. He will be missed by his several brothers, and sisters, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. We would like to thank all the staff at the Shannex in Quispamsis for the devotion and kindness they bring to their work every day. We are so thankful that he was in your care. Bernie brought love and humour to all of us. His memory will continue to bring us joy and laughter.
In keeping with Bernie’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. A memorial service will take place in Kingston, Ontario later this summer. Arrangements are under the care of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (506-849-2119). For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Parkinson Canada or Heart and Stroke Canada.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Bernie
