Bernard Howe 2022

Bernard “Bernie” Morrisey Howe, of Miramichi, passed away peacefully at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at the age of 78.
Born in Wayerton, he was the son of the late Luke and Rita (Baisley) Howe. He worked for REPAP Paper Mill for 40 years and was a member of St Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church. He enjoyed meeting with his friends at Tim Horton’s and Ritchie’s Wharf and going for drives. He truly enjoyed the simple things in life.
He will be greatly missed by his sister Lois (Joe Foran) of Miramichi; brother Donald (Carol Ann) of Renous; niece Heather; and nephews Jason, Jeff, Colin, and Bradley.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters Patsy Gunn and Margaret (Peggy) McGrath.
The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, on Sunday, May 15, 2022, from 6 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 16, 2022, at 11 am, at St Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, with Father Anthony Dass Papu officiating.
At the request of the family, masks are asked to be worn and social distancing guidelines to be followed.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one’s choice.
