Bernard “Bernie” Eugene Kroening
September 23rd, 1936 – October 22nd, 2022
Bernard “Bernie” Eugene Kroening, of Lacombe, Alberta, passed away on Saturday, October 22nd, 2022, at the age of 86 years.
Bernie is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Joanne; children Kevin (Deanna), Wade (Lois), and Kelly Sjolin; grandchildren Chris (Jody) Sjolin, Cole Kroening, Brandon (Brittney) Kroening, Thomas Sjolin, Zack Rumak, Brittany (Mitchel) Neudorf; great-grandchildren Branden, Tessa, Brooklyn, Peyton and Xayvian; siblings Harold (Vera), Myron (Annis), Stan (Marilyn), Georgene Cardinal, Lavern Lee (Chuck); and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Oswald and Myrtle Kroening; brothers Ronnie and Dennis; and grandson Cory.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 12th, 2022, at Baker Funeral Chapel, Wetaskiwin, with Rev. Ruth Lumax officiating.
