Bernard ”Bernie” Cormier 1950 2022

Bernard “Bernie” Cormier, 72, of Moncton, passed
away on Tuesday June 28, 2022 at the Hospice Albert House. Born in
Moncton, he was the son of the late Edouard “Jigger” and
Rose-Delima “Thelma” (Martin) Cormier.
Bernie co-founded BJW Electronics which he successfully built
over 20 years. Afterwards, he worked as Project Manager for Super
Structures Inc., then on special projects for Canadian Tire where he
made many thoughtful friends.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Diane (LeBlanc); four
sons: Eric (Julie) of St-Lazare, QC, Serge (Stephanie) of Dieppe,
René (Meryl) and André, both of
Montréal, QC; six grandchildren: Marlowe, Sawyer, Ariane,
Mila, Oliver, and Henri; one sister, Charline Cormier of Moncton;
three brothers: Robert of Riverview, Michel “Mike” (Pauline)
of Moncton, and Grégoire “Greg” (Kim) of Shediac
Bridge; as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 88 Church, Moncton (858-1900) where the funeral
service will be celebrated on Tuesday July 5 at 4 pm. Visiting hours
are Monday from 7 to 9 pm only. Face coverings are recommended.
Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory
of Bernard, a contribution to Hospice SENB (Albert House) would be
appreciated.
