Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family in his 97th year.
Beloved partner and best friend of Kathie Perrett. Loving father of Mark Berest, Sandra McDowell (Joseph), grandfather of Simon Berest and Joshua Nejib, and uncle of Cynny Posman (Jack Lipnowski). Thank you to Drop-in Companions and especially Sharon.
Grateful for care from Dr Ludman, the palliative care team from Mt Sinai Hospital and CLSC René Cassin. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
