In Loving Memory of
Bennett “Ben” “Bennie” Coggins
May 7, 1955 – April 29, 2022
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts the family announces the peaceful passing of their brother and uncle at the Little Current Hospital on Friday, April 29, 2022 at the age of 66.
Ben was raised in a family of seven. He leaves behind 2 sisters, 2 brothers, 2 nieces and 9 nephews.
Beloved son of Richard “Dick” and Mavis Coggins (both predeceased).
Ben was born in Sudbury, but was raised in Levack, Ontario. Ben had an adventurous life. He worked and lived in many places across Canada. He was a fabulous hockey player and has very fond memories of sailing, fishing and camping. Those were his happy places.
Rest in peace dear brother you are now reunited with Mom, Dad and your beloved pets.
The family wishes to thank the Wikwemikong Nursing Home staff for all the wonderful care Ben received when he called it home, Dr. Steven Cooper for the care he gave Ben, especially Dr. MacKeracher for the compassion she showed at a very difficult time, the nurses at the hospital for the compassionate care Ben received during his stay at the hospital and the Island Funeral Home for their guidance.
