Benjamin McFadyen
1990-2022
MCFADYEN, Benjamin
James
August 31 1990 ~ August 29 2022
Passed away suddenly at home on Monday, August 29,
2022. Ben was full of life. He loved being outside in
nature, hiking, camping and exploring. He was a kind and
gentle soul who loved to learn and share his knowledge. He was wise
beyond his years. He was the first to offer help, he loved brewing
beer, gardening and playing guitar.
Ben will be terribly missed by his loving and cherished
fiancé, Ashley Benallick. He leaves behind his honored and
proud parents Jim and Robin McFadyen; his in laws Jeff and Verona
Benallick; his sister Leah and nephews Tim and Luke as well as many
aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be dearly missed by his
friends, leaders and fellow university members and by his beloved four
legged buddy, Coby. Cremation has taken
place.
A celebration of Ben’s life will be held at the
GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre
& Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street,
Guelph on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at
11:00 a.m. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to
11:00 a.m in the funeral home chapel. Reception to follow
service. Please gather with us as we celebrate the kind man
Ben was.
