Obituary of Beatrice Anne Levy
LEVY, Beatrice “Bee” – age 77 of Shubenacadie, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2022 at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Pictou, she was a daughter of the late Hugh and Alma (Williamson) MacMillan.
Beatrice was dedicated to her work. She proudly ran Bee MacMillan accounting for the past 15 years, and had been a former manager at Scotia Bank, Toronto for 25 years. She also managed the Canadian School in Italy.
Beatrice is survived by her son David (Mary) MacNeil; grandchildren, David and Candace; great grandson, Myles; brother, Robert “Bob” (Rosalita) MacMillan; niece and nephews, Janaya, David and Robert.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Terry; brother, John; sister Mary Ann.
Visitation will be held 1pm on Monday, August 22, 2022 at St. Bridget’s Roman Catholic Church until time of service at 2pm, Father Andrew Rembarczyk officiating. Cremation will take place after the service and a private family interment will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank the VON Palliative Care Unit for their excellent care and compassion towards Beatrice. Special thanks to Troy, Pam, Rosemary, Betty, Sandra and Theresa.
