BASIL GERARD WREN
It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Basil Wren of Douglas who passed away peacefully in Renfrew Victoria Hospital, on Friday July 15, 2022 at the age of 60. Basil Wren beloved husband of Danielle Wren (nee Judd). Son of Kevin Wren and the late Catherine Wren (nee O’Kane), and son-in-law of Donna and the late Edward Judd. Dear father of Naomi (Eddy Rodriguez), Harley and the late Dylan. Loving Papa to Kaylee, Felicity, Matteo and Kira. He will be sadly missed by siblings Mary (Kevin MacFarlane), Leann (Keith Selle), Linda (Brian Rozak), Jimmie (Karen Miller), Paul (Kelly Ball), Ted (Julie Potvin), Lisa (Chris Mitchell). Also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by sister Patti Eckford, brother Stephen Wren and nephew Patrice Wren. Family / Friends may call at the Fraser – Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden, on Monday July 18, 2022 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9pm and on Tuesday from 9:30am until 10:15 am. Thence to St. Pius V Roman Catholic Church Osceola for Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Interment St. Pius V Cemetery Osceola. As expressions of sympathy donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Diabetic Association would be greatly appreciated.
