Basil Edward “Jr.” Crowe
Crowe, Basil “Jr.” Edward – Age 58, Bible Hill. The family of Basil “Jr.” Edward Crowe is saddened to announce his passing on Thursday, July 7, 2022, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. He was born the only son of the late Basil Leon and Nora Agnes (Taylor) Crowe in Truro, NS.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly (Lemmons); daughter, Courtney (Daniel), Manganese Mines; son, Nick (Tiffany), Calgary, AB; grandchildren, Nevyn, Kenneth and Autumn; sisters, Darlene Marshall, Truro and Leona Neil, East Mountain.
Basil worked at the Mira as maintenance for the past ten years. His favourite past time was watching the news, driving around Bible Hill on his scooter, mowing the lawn with what he called his, “Big Green Tractor,” and visiting with Mr. Charlie Wilson as well as going out to his camper with his wife on his weekends off. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Donations in Basil’s memory may be made to the SPCA.
A Graveside service will take place on Wednesday, July 13th at 11am in West Branch Cemetery, North River with Larry Webb officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, NS.
