With great sadness on the evening of October 23, 2022, minutes after family members had left his side, Barry Robert Poersch, 75 years, took his last breath after a short battle with cancer.
Barry, who was a very strong willed and a private individual lived life on his own terms and never wanted to bother others.
He, on two occasions, performed CPR saving the life of a friend and that of a stranger showing the humane and caring side in contrast to his tough exterior.
Barry left behind numerous family and friends all of which will greatly miss him.
A special thanks to the nurses and support staff at the Misericordia Cornish 2 for the care and love they provided to Barry during his lengthy stay.
