Barry Berge
July 28, 1950 ~ November 28, 2022
Barry Elroy Berge was born on July 28, 1950, at Victoria Hospital, in Prince Albert, SK. He passed away with family by his side on November 28, 2022, at Victoria Hospital, in Prince Albert, SK, at the age of 72 years, after a valiant 8-year battle with cancer.
Barry is survived by his loving wife, Colleen and their daughter, Taylor; his children: Jason (Jennie) and their children, Emalea and Esra, Devon (Melissa) and their children, Evie and Liv, Cole (Tania) and their daughter Emerie, Chad and Leah (Shane) and their children, Racheal, Solomon, and Adao, and their mother, Barb.
Barry is survived by his siblings: Allan (Vicky), Carolyn (Randy), and Dean; his in-laws: Terri, Elaine (Leonard), Debbie (Ron) and Don; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Barry was predeceased by his parents, Hjalmar and Lillian; his in-laws: Theophil, and Lindena Renz; brother-in-law, Leonard; and sister-in-law, Kathy.
Barry will be remembered for his generosity and willingness to always lend a helping hand on whatever job had to be done. His sense of humor and quick wit will be missed by everyone, especially his children and grandchildren. His vast life experiences allowed him to always have great insight and advice and to always see the positive in any situation. Barry will be forever missed but will be held close to our hearts for eternity.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 28 Street West, Prince Albert, SK. Interment will be at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. Services will be live streamed and recorded; a link will be provided as soon as available. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel, (306) 922-4729.
