November 14, 1942 – November 18, 2022
It is with great sadness and deep sorrow that the family announces Barry Stadfeld’s passing. He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Bartly Stadfeld, Holly Brake, and Steven Stoller; as well as his many grandchildren and great grandchildren; his sisters: June, Shirley, Sharron, Lynda, Irene, Laverne and Dawn; also numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents, Eidur and Fern Stadfeld; sisters Joy and Marlie; brother Raymond and his beloved nephew Christopher Baker.
His engaging personality won him many lifelong friends. The family moved from farming in Fisher Branch, Manitoba to Salmon Arm, BC in 1981 where he began a new career selling recreational vehicles. His love for BC led him on many job opportunities, new adventures and new friends! Barry loved his family and his extended family. He was always there to “change motor” or “paint a car” or to give “sage advice” or just to offer a “willing shoulder”.
The family would like to send our appreciation to all of the staff at the Pleasant Valley Care home in Armstrong, BC for their heartfelt care and support.
A Celebration of a Life barbecue will be held on June 17, 2023 at Bart Stadfeld’s residence (#63 Highway 97B Enderby, BC) starting at 3:00 pm.
