Obituary of Barbara Jean Doucette
In Loving Memory
Barbara Jean Doucette (nee Reid)
October 12, 1937 – January 22, 2022
Doucette, Barbara Jean (nee Reid) in her 85th year, passed away suddenly and peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital, with her family at her side. She will be reunited with her parents, Ernest William Reid and Bernice Muriel Cohen at Sanctuary Park Cemetery in Toronto. Beloved mother to Mark Garrod (Laurie Weston) and Lee (Lars) Larsen, Grandmother to Larissa (Peter) Wojaz, Eli and Christopher, Great Grandmother to Skyla and Callie, and sadly missed by her dear friend Linda. She cherished time spent with family and friends, and she will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Barbara was passionate about the entertainment and film industry, and had several roles as an extra, and small parts in popular tv shows and movies filmed locally. She loved all animals, especially her cats, and time spent at the beach. Her granddaughter Larissa will especially miss the cherished moments they spent together over the years.
There will be a private family service, and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Barbara’s name to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or Epilepsy Ontario.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Barbara
