Gofton, Barbara Ann
Passed away at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Thursday July 14th, 2022 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Ivan Gofton. Loving mother of Bill (Patty), Roger and the late Johnny Gofton. Cherished grandmother of Sydney and Emily. Predeceased by her siblings Natalie Tonisso (Olaf) and Mona Bell. Barbara will be missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time. The family would like to offer a special thank you to the staff of Lake Simcoe Retirement Home and the nurses and nurse practitioner on Harvey 2 at OSMH for their excellent care and compassion. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to OSPCA – Orillia through the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St E Orillia (705) 327-0221.
