At the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Wednesday January 12th, 2022, Barbara Sherrah of Chatham passed away in her 72nd year. Cherished daughter of the late Geoffrey and Joyce Crooks. Beloved wife of David. Loving mother of Bonnie Sherrah-Janssens (Jan), Geoffrey (Rhonda), and Holly, all of Chatham. Proud grandmother of Brittney, Jessica, and Jared. Dear sister of Diane Kimel, Pauline Shaw (John), and Sandra French (Charlie). Predeceased by an infant son. Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington St West, Chatham, 519-352-2710, on Monday January 17th, 2022, with visiting from 12 noon to 1:30 pm. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, you must schedule your visitation time in advance by calling the funeral home at (519) 352-2710. All attendees as mandated by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario must wear a mask at all visitations and funerals. A family service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home and will be streamed live on Monday January 17th at 2:00 pm with Mr. Charlie Slade officiating. Cremation to follow with interment at a later date. Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider a charity of their choice.
