WAITO, Barbara Marie – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Barbara Marie Waito (nee Baker) on Friday, December 30th, 2022 in her 73rd year. She is predeceased by her husband Garry Waito, sisters Dorothy Gale and Terry Adkins, and parents Robert and Lillian Baker (nee Butler). She will be missed by her children Audrey, Robert, Peter (Pam) and Christopher (Lisa). Sadly missed by her 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, her cats and dog, her sisters and many nieces and nephews. Barb was well known for her love of reading and animals. She could never turn her back neither from a book, nor a stray animal. A Celebration of Life and Graveside Service will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to the OSPCA or your local animal shelter would be appreciated. Special thanks to David Sheppard, the nurses, PSWs and Dr. Lynsay Lane for their care and compassion.
