Grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandsons were the highlight of Barb’s life. She loved living in her condo and the camaraderie of community friends at Northridge Estates, playing Play Nine and other card games, and social activities at the Social Center. Music and dancing were also a fun pastime for Barb. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren always looked forward to Grandma Barb’s German cuisine of noodles – she was their noodle machine! Barb was warm hearted, with an infectious smile and laugh and very meticulous about her appearance – a classy lady whose favorite hobby was keeping up with the fashion trends. She was a “Fashionista”. Barb and George loved travelling in their motorhome making many trips to their hometown of Unity, Saskatchewan to visit family, as well as traveling east to Ontario to visit her sister. They did many winter vacations to Arizona as well as the east and west coasts of Canada, Maine, North Carolina and Hawaii. Camping in and around the many Alberta summer campsites and Kananaskis with family and grandchildren was also a highlight. Barb lived a full and happy life.
