Barbara Jensen, of Miramichi, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 17, 2022, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 84.
Born in Miramichi, she was the daughter of the late Margaret McLean. She was a member of Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church and a homemaker who loved cooking for her family and spending time with them.
She will be forever loved and greatly missed by her three daughters Lorna McCleary (Wilfred), Linda McLean (Barry) and Joanne McCrae (Brian) all of Miramichi; eight grandchildren Jennifer Ashton (Phillip), Christina McCleary (Kevin), Alfred McCrae, Andrew McCrae (Lacey), Emmerson Richards (Pauline), Ryan McCleary (Whitney), Amber Glidden (Brandon), and Amanda McCrae; three step grandsons Thomas McCrae (Sheba), Geoff McLean (Lynsay) and Brandon McLean; six great grandchildren Jordan, Dreyden, Wesley, Owen, Jace, and Ivy; and one step great grandson Theodore.
Besides her mother, she was predeceased by her husband Alfred Jensen.
A graveside service will take place in St Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one’s choice.
