Peacefully after a lengthy illness, on Sunday, October 2 at the age of 85, while at The Glebe Centre.
Beloved wife of the late Kenneth A. MacIntosh. Loving mother of Steven and Valerie (Yves Pepin). Cherished grandmother “Caw” of Chelsea (Ian) and Nathalie Pepin. Treasured great-grandmother “Barbie” to Harper and Blaise. Predeceased by her parents Millard and Blanche Cameron (nee Wereley). Survived by her siblings Doreen Bard and Barry Cameron. Predeceased by her sisters Beverly, Doris, Donna and Linda and her brother Winston. Will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and cousins.
Barbara was a retired employee of the Bank Of Nova Scotia for 38 years and spent the majority of those years at the Branch at 1145 Bank Street.
Friends are invited to visit the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O’Connor) on Saturday, October 8, after 9:30am, until time of Service in the Chapel at 11am. On site reception to follow. Interment to take place at a later date.
The family would like to thank the staff on the 4th floor Queenswood at The Glebe Centre for their competent and gentle care of Barbara.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to The Glebe Centre.
