Barbara Peppard (Coffill, Hiltz), 87 of Riverview, NB; passed
away at Monarch Hall Riverview, on Sunday, February 20,
2022.
Born in Kentville, NS, she was the daughter of the late
Arthur and Alvida Hiltz. She was the former owner of The Valley Shop
Ltd, Kentville, NS, former manager Camrose Fashions and a past member
of Riverview Kinette Club.
As a lifetime Anglican, she was member of St. John the
Baptist Anglican Church, Riverview.
She was an avid curler and former member of the Glooscap
Curling Club, Kentville, then became an armchair judge.
Until arthritis took its toll, she enjoyed
crocheting, knitting and doing needlepoints, and she enjoyed
beating Keith at cribbage.
She is survived by children: son Cpl (Ret) Bruce (Joan)
Coffill, London, ON; daughter Lynda (Wilfred) Andrews,
Kentville; twin daughters Shirley-Anne (Lee) Mailman, Fall River, and
Shelley-Anne (Randy) Aalders of Welton Landing, NS.
Grandchildren: Ryan (Kyna) Andrews, their children Aiden and
Kinsley; Laura (Thommy) Mayerhofer; Tiffany (Myles) Malley; Cody
Mailman, his daughter Alaylah; Josh (Ellen) Aalders, their children
Casein and Abigail; and Jake Aalders. Step children Kim (Jamie) Sears,
their daughter Brea; Donna (Rob) Wells, their children Ryan and
Jessica, of Riverview; and Sean (Lindsay) Peppard, their children
Sophia and Tyson Sloat, of Fredericton.
She was sadly predeceased by her loving husband A.Keith
Peppard (Feb 2022), parents, sister Shirley Wilson, infant son David
Arthur Coffill, infant granddaughters Michaelia and granddaughter
Sarah Aalders.
Honouring the wishes of Barbara, cremation has occurred and a
Private service will be held at Mahon Cemetery, NS at a later
date.

to the SPCA.
