Mrs. Avtar Khalsa of Khalsa Drive, Glace Bay, passed away peacefully at the Northside Community Guest Home in North Sydney on Mother’s Day. She was 99 years old.
Born in India, Avtar arrived in Canada on a snowy night in January 52 years ago. During this time, she explored every inch of Cape Breton Island and shared that love with all that came to visit.
We will be holding a celebration of a life well lived at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, May 17 at 10:30 a.m.
