McDonald: Auwina ( nee vandenElst) –
A resident of Chatham, Auwina McDonald passed away at the Riverview Gardens on October 23, 2022 at the age of 93.
Born in the Netherlands, Auwina immigrated to Canada with her husband and family in 1951.
Beloved wife of the late Gordon McDonald.
Dear father to Gordon and Lyn McDonald. Proud grandmother to six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren
Predeceased by her daughter Evelyn Barkley.
In keeping with Auwina’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Private family arrangements will take place at a later date.
Donations made in memory of Auwina to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
