Austin Conner Bean – age 95 of Strawberry Plains was born November 5, 1926 and went to be with his Lord and Savior and his loving wife, Beth, on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, with his loving son, and beloved granddaughters by his side. Member of Trentville United Methodist Church and a US Army Veteran of World War II. Austin retired from the US Postal Service with 33 years of service. He also retired after 50+ years as a school bus contractor for Knox County Schools.
Preceded in death by beloved wife, Beth Marie Webster Bean; parents, R.O. and Pearl Bean; and several brothers and sisters.
Survived by devoted son, Steve (Carol) Bean of Strawberry Plains; beloved granddaughters, Stephanie (Mike) Watson, and Sherri Bean, both of Strawberry Plains; grandson, Scott (Angie) Clark of Mooresville, NC; very special great grandsons, Kaden Bean and Easton Watson, both of Strawberry Plains; great grandchildren, Sam and Molly Clark; special fur baby, Stormy; and many special friends and extended family.
