Obituary of Audrey Betty Wilson
Unexpectedly, on Thursday, August 4th, 2022, Audrey Betty Wilson Sr. of Chippewa of the Thames First Nation (Originally from the Oneida of the Thames First Nation) in her 80th year.
Loving mother of Naomi R. Wilson (Paul), Audrey E. “Bill” Wilson (Rick), V. Wayne Wilson (Becky), and S. Nimki Wilson. Proud grandma of Jillian, Cheri, Terri, Ryan, Alex, Dezerae, Wayne Jr., Jamie, Erin, Jude, 11 great-grandchildren and 8 nieces & nephews. Also survived by her two dearest friends of 50+ years: Joyce (Nadjiwon) Johnson and Velma Thomas. Predeceased by her parents Abram Powless and Marita (Stonefish) Powless, and her two siblings Shirley Wright and Richard Powless.
Family will receive friends at the Elliott-Madill Funeral Home in Mt. Brydges on Monday, August 8th, 2022 from 10 to 11 am and a Celebration of Audrey’s life will be held commencing at 11 am. www.elliottmadill.com
