ARBUCKLE, Audrey Winona – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Audrey at the Trent Valley Lodge Nursing Home on Thursday, September 15th, 2022, in her 100th year. Loving daughter of the late Arthur and Pearl Parker. Beloved wife of the late Wayne Arbuckle (2014). Dear mother to Elizabeth Vandersel-Willott (Larry), Mary Marshall (Kim) and the late John Arbuckle. Devoted grandma to Ashley Vandersel, Brittney Vandersel, Laura Marshall, Bradley Marshall and great-grandson Archer Marshall. Survived by her sister-in-law Shirley Parker. Predeceased by her siblings Muriel VanHedegen (late Harry), Earle Parker (late Doris), Alice Neale (late Lewis), Melva Day (late Charles), Lloyd Parker and Waldo Parker. Also remembered by her many nieces and nephews. A private family graveside service will be held from Holy Trinity Cemetery, Frankford. Audrey was a lifelong Elementary School Teacher for 48 years where she taught from Frankford Public School, Marmora Street School and Queen Elizabeth School in Trenton. Audrey’s legacy of teaching has impacted the lives of her students and will carry on in the lives of her grandchildren who are currently teaching in the Hastings District School Board. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, or Louy Dietz Society would be appreciated by the family.
