Audrey Susan Rainforth 2022

In Loving Memory
Rainforth (Riley), Audrey Susan- 80 of Auburn, Kings Co., passed away at home on Oct 4, 2022. Being in her own home was near and dear to her and we are thankful to have been able to give her the assistance needed to be able to stay there on her own. Born April 8,1942 in Annapolis Royal she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Jean (Clarke) Riley. She was strong willed, independent, loving, caring, a lover of animals and meticulous in all she did. Although she did not work outside of the home, she was always busy and never still for long. She maintained her own home and especially enjoyed the outside jobs like mowing, raking, gardening and continued to do so until well into her 70’s. Surviving are daughters Vicki Rainforth (Bill Wack) and Jackie Rainforth (Brian Markey); grandson Billy Wack, great grandson Rayne; brother Ray Riley (Karen), all of Auburn; numerous nieces and nephews. One nephew, with whom she had a close bond, Larry Riley. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Larry Rainforth; sister Vinnie Spencer; and brother Eddie Riley. She always gave her love to us unconditionally and we were so fortunate to have her as our “Mom” and “Best Friend”. Funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, October 11, 2022, in St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Auburn. Rev. Mel Malton officiating. Interment in St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to the Lung Association or Kings County SPCA. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home 398 Main Street, 1-855-825-3448.
