Spidle, Audrey Doris – passed away January 11, 2022 in Grand View Manor, Berwick. Born in Middleton, NS on June 28, 1948, she grew up in Margaretsville then raised her family with Gordon, the love of her life, in Berwick. Audrey was the ideal mother, the type of mother we all aim to be. Her boys Brad and Kevin were her greatest joy. She loved to garden, to travel and spend time with her friends and family. Many whom referred to her as a real Martha Stewart. Audrey was a loving grammie to Thatcher, Macayla, Reid, Keaton and Nolan. She always had time to play with all of them. Audrey loved life. She experienced many joys over her life before falling ill the last few years. Audrey was predeceased by her parents, Doris and Austin McLaughlin; son, Kevin; sisters, Gail and Lee; brothers, Warren and Graham. She is survived by her adoring husband, Gordon; son Brad (Stephanie); brothers, Eric (Wenda) and Dean (Audrey); many nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will take place by invitation only in the Middleton Funeral Home, Rev. Sarah Scott officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free 1-855-825-3448. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
