Obituary
Audrey Doreen Millard was born on November 24th, 1928, in Cranbrook, British Columbia and moved to the High River area in 1933.
Audrey attended Maple Leaf School near Aldersyde for grades 1-8 and attended High River High School to complete grades 9-12.
Audrey obtained teacher training at Calgary Normal School, and through Edmonton University. She taught in country schools near Three Hills and Big Rock School, west of Okotoks. Audrey also taught in Calgary from the late 1950’s until retirement in 1986.
Audrey is predeceased by her father; Donald Gordon MacDonald in 1966 and mother; Violet Francis MacDonald (Turnbull) in 1989.
She is survived by her son Layne (Cheryl) Millard; and four grandchildren Angela (Jonathan); Andrea; Jocelyn and Jarvis; and four great grandchildren.
