Obituary of Aubrey White
White, Aubrey Blanchard – 90 of North Noel Road, passed away peacefully on February 10th, 2022, in the Colchester East Hants Health Center, Truro. Born in North Noel Road on March 27th, 1931, he was the son to the late Allen and Essie (Harvie) White.
Aubrey was best known for his kind mild and generous personality as well as his sense of humor. Aubrey worked as a woodsman from a very young age and continued this until his retirement. He loved to play cribbage, darts, and was in a bowling league until the age of 88.
Aubrey is survived by wife of almost 50 years Rowena (Paige), children who he loved very much; George (Kathy) and Ardis (Tim) McNutt. Marrying at the age of 41, Aubrey wondered if he would live to see his grandchildren grow up, and he did; Morgan (Brandon) Morris, Shane, William, Carson and great grandchildren Owen and Colt, sister-in-law Dorothy Burns.
Besides his parents, Aubrey is predeceased by sisters Edith, Olive, Greta, Mary, Nettie, Hilda, brothers Burton and Murray.
Cremation has taken place, there will be a private family service held at a later date.
Donations in memory of Aubrey can be made to St. Paul’s United Church or Noel District Fire Department.
