Obituary
Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Center on Tuesday, April 12th, 2022, Aubrey Nelson Anderson of Chance Cove in his 88th year.
Predeceased by wife, Hazel Anderson; son, Melvin; parents, Samuel and Ida Anderson; stepmother, Myrtle Anderson; brother, Melvin; baby sister, Florence; sister, Louise Vaters (Harris); brothers-in-law, Willis Reid, Melvin Hussey, and Marvin Peddle; sister-in-law, Olive Anderson; father and mother-in-law, William and Ethel Peddle.
Leaving to mourn loving daughter, Sheila Davis; stepson, Hayward Smith (Loretta); sisters, Elizabeth Reid and Nina Hussey; brothers, Cecil (Phyllis) and John; grandchildren, Michael (Kristie), Neil, Nadine (Dean), and Jennifer (Mark); great-grandchildren, Tyler, Kyle, Ryan, Matthew, Scott, Issac, Colin, Leah and Mason; brother-in-law, Ronald Peddle (Phyllis) and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Peddle. Also fondly remembered by a large number of nieces and nephews and other relatives, as well as very dear friends.
Resting at the Church of the Ascension, Chance Cove with visitation on Friday, April 15, 7pm-9pm and Saturday April 16, 10am-12 noon. Service will be held at 2pm Saturday, April 16 at the Church of Ascension, Chance Cove with interment to follow at the Church of the Ascension Cemetery, Chance Cove.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in Aubrey’s memory may be made to the Church of Ascension Memorial Fund, Chance Cove.
