1945-2022
Arthur LeBlanc, 76, of Grand-Barachois and formerly of Bouctouche,
passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Friday March 25,
2022. Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Alyre and the
late Edmée (Bastarache) LeBlanc.
He will be sadly missed by his common-law wife; Carol Heighton of
Grand-Barachois, his son Philip LeBlanc (Nicole) of Moncton, his four
step-children; Stephanie Ferguson of Pictou, NS, Crystal Heighton of
Grand-Barachois, Justin Scanlan of Pictou, NS, Bradly Heighton of
Grand-Barachois, his thirteen grandchildren and two great
grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn his sister Marie-Paule Cormier
(Alonzo Bastarache) of Bouctouche, his two brothers; Gerald (Ida) of
Bouctouche and Gerard of Moncton as well as several nephews and
nieces.
He was predeceased by his first wife Elise (Arsenault) LeBlanc, one
son; Sylvio, his two sisters; Beatrice and Clarise and three brothers;
Raymond, Jean-Paul and Emile.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de
l’église, Bouctouche on Wednesday March 30, 2022 from 2:00
to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A funeral Mass will be
celebrated at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church,
Bouctouche on Thursday March 31, 2022 at 2:00 pm with interment in the
parish cemetery in the spring.
FACE MASK ARE MANDATORY AT THE FUNERAL HOME AT ALL TIMES.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
