NEERHOF, Arnold Christiaan – passed away peacefully into the arms of his Lord with his family by his side at Trenton Memorial Hospital on Thursday, September 15, 2022 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband and best friend of Nel Neerhof (Devries) for 66 years. Loving father to Arny Neerhof (Anne), Eddy Neerhof (Helen), Brenda Gillespie (Fred) and JoAnne Draaistra (Gerald). Dear Opa to Aleah Neerhof (Jacob), Jessica Maccauley (Mike), Jenna Neerhof (Will), Kelsey Chard (Justin), Natalie Neerhof (Jake), Miranda Neerhof (Richard), Michael Neerhof, Anthony Gillespie, Kristen Hatfield (Darrell), Ethan Gillespie, Hannah VanEgmond (Jahnny), Megan Veenstra (Steve), Amanda Dewal (Travis), and Mike Draaistra (Deidre). Cherished great-opa to twenty-one great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Shena DeBoer. Predeceased by his parents Antoon and Gezina Neerhof (nee Eenink), and his brothers Bernard, Joe, Gerrit, John (surviving wife Audrey), sister Miena Klyn-Hesselink. Arnold will be fondly remembered by many sisters and brothers in-law, nieces, nephews and friends including dear family friends Shaun and Barb Hennessy and family. Resting at the Rushnell Funeral Centre, 60 Division Street, Trenton. Visitation will be held at Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church, 18 Fourth Avenue, Trenton on Tuesday, September 20th, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Church on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Adam Veenstra officiating. Interment Mount Evergreen Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Trenton Christian School or Charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
