Obituary
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 9th, 2022, at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga, at the age of 88. Survived by her loving husband Patrick. Loving mother to Anna Mary Foster (Patrick Fontaine), Patricia Foster (Chuck Carter), Mark Foster, and Peter Foster (Tracy Foster). Cherished grandma to Tanya King (John Resendes), Joseph King (Erin King), Johnathan King, Michael Carter, Melissa Carter, Teresa Young (Chad), Shawn Foster, and Josh Foster. Great grandmother to Paisley Young, Payton Young, Sophia King, and Charlotte King. Dear sister to Carmen Zita in Italy. Antonia’s furry friend Chelsey is already missing her presence around the house.
Antonia was a kind and thoughtful woman and mother with lots of energy. She always put others’ needs ahead of her own. She very much loved to cook traditional Italian meals and host family gatherings. Her delicious meals were especially enjoyed by the children at the daycare where she worked as a cook. Antonia will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (at 14th St., between Islington and Kipling Aves., 416-259-3705) on Monday, November 21st from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A Memorial Mass will be held at Christ the King (3674 Lake Shore Blvd. West) on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. A burial of ashes will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery (7300 ON-27, Woodbridge) If desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
