Obituary of Antoinette Emily Bednarz
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother on Friday, April 15, 2022, at the age of 98. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Edward Bednarz. Cherished mother of the late Shirley Ann Kirton, Joanne Badelt (Brian) and Debbie Dunseath (Robert). Much loved Nana of Sarah White, Sherri Viotto, Adam Dunseath, Travis Young, Amanda Orazietti and Jane Mason. Proud great-grandmother of Jaden and Lauren White, Kaden and Jaela Viotto, Tessa and Jace Young, Luca Orazietti, Jackson Dunseath, Mason and Nicholas.
Daughter of the late Antonio and late Rose (nee Madonna) Pettalia. Predeceased by her siblings Sosto Pettalia (late Marie), Sam Pettalia (late Rose), Frank Pettalia (late Liz), Rose Dyni (late John), Mary Figliomeni, Joe Pettalia (late Bea), Julie Barlow (late Dave), Peter Pettalia (late Mary) and Carmel Porter (late Joe), Sister-in-law of the late Chester Bednarz (late Sue), late Mary Hansen (late Sigard) and late Boleslaw Bednarz (late Sandra).
Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Veronica’s Church at 2:00 p.m. with Father Ron Ambeault officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of SSM would be appreciated by the family.
Special thank you to Dr. Costaine, Dr. Fraser, Dr. Wilson and Dr. Iulius, SAH nurses on 3A – Brianna, Lisa and Monique for the excellent care, staff on Birch 1 of the F.J. Davey Home and her special and dear friend Anna Fronzi.
