Mom was a member of the association Les Femmes Acadienne de
la Région d’Argyle, Le Reveil de Pombcoup and Le
Village Historique Acadien. She was very proud of her
Acadian heritage.
In her younger years, she loved to dance, play bingo, play
crib and was an avid bowler up to 3 years
ago.
Prior to her retirement to Pubnico, she worked most of her
life at Bickerton Industries Ltd., Port Bickerton, Nova
Scotia.
Mom loved dining out with her friends and family and so as a
last salute, I raise my wine glass to you Mom and may you rest in
peace.
Thank you to Home Care Halifax, especially Kaneisha and
Laurie who took such great care of her during the last few
months.
A special thank you to Dr. Nabha Shetty who went above and
beyond in assisting Mom and to whom we are forever grateful.
