Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès d’Antoine Brooks, à l’âge de 77 ans, le dimanche 22 mai 2022, à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner. Antoine aimait voyager et était amateur de camping, de chasse et de pêche. Il aimait prendre café avec ses amis et faire des randonnées en voiture. C’était un homme de grand cœur qui aimait aider les gens.
Antoine laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Claudette, de Kapuskasing; ses filles : Carole Murphy (Paul) de Hanmer, Suzanne Soucy (Alex), Diane Brooks de Timmins et Nicole Brooks de Kapuskasing; ses frères et sœurs : Willey (Jocelynne) de Victoria Harbour, Jean-Paul (feue Jeannette) de Kapuskasing, Lucien (Mariette) de St-Joseph Island, Julien de Montréal, Denis (Bernice) de Gogama, Denise Frechette (Claude) de Val-Rita, Roger de Laval, Cécile Lefebvre (feu Michel) et Lise Newton (Randy ) de Moonbeam; ainsi que nombreux petits-enfants, arrière-petits-enfants, neveux et nièces. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents, Emma et Harry Brooks; ainsi qu’un frère, René.
Un service privé à la fosse aura lieu à une date ultérieure. La famille sera très reconnaissante de dons à la Fondation de l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner comme témoignages de sympathie. ©
We regret to announce the death of Antoine Brooks, at the age of 77 years, peacefully, on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Sensenbrenner Hospital. Antoine enjoyed travelling, camping, hunting, fishing, having coffee with his friends and going for car rides. He was a man who would help anyone in need.
Antoine is survived by his wife Claudette of Kapuskasing; his daughters: Carole Murphy (Paul) of Hanmer, Suzanne Soucy (Alex), Diane Brooks of Timmins and Nicole Brooks of Kapuskasing; his siblings: Willey (Jocelynne) of Victoria Harbour, Jean-Paul (late Jeannette) of Kapuskasing, Lucien (Mariette) of St-Joseph Island, Julien of Montreal, Denis (Bernice) of Gogama, Denise Frechette (Claude) of Val-Rita, Roger of Laval, Cécile Lefebvre (late Michel) and Lise Newton (Randy) of Moonbeam; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Emma and Harry Brooks; and one brother, René.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date. The family would greatly appreciate donations to the Sensenbrenner Hospital Foundation as expressions of sympathy. ©
